Echidna Tracks will now become an international publication, and we welcome submissions from haiku poets worldwide. We hope to publish a diversity of haiku and senryu.
Gavin Austin and Marilyn Humbert will be the haiku editors for this issue.
We invite your best and previously unpublished haiku/senryu on any topic.
Please carefully read the guidelines on the Submissions page, as these have changed. Submissions will be received only via the submissions form.
You are invited to submit no more than five (5) of your original haiku in one submission. Work should be original, unpublished (in print or online, in forums or blogs, Facebook pages and groups, etc.) and not under consideration elsewhere. Please do not submit close versions of work previously published or accepted for publication.
Make only one submission containing all the haiku you are submitting. If your haiku needs special formatting, please indicate in the note space below the haiku submissions. Haiku will be aligned left unless there is a good reason for another type of presentation.
Include your name and country of residence.
You will receive an automatic notification of your submission on the website, not in email, immediately after you press SUBMIT. If you are in doubt about the receipt, please resubmit and look for the notice. You will receive further notification within four weeks if any of your submitted haiku have been selected for inclusion in Echidna Tracks.
If you haven’t heard from us by then, your haiku has not been selected on this occasion, and you are free to send your haiku elsewhere.
